Our Self Employment Services

One of the single biggest barriers to employment for persons with disabilities remains transportation. Many persons with disabilities do not have a drivers license or a vehicle if they do. Many need to rely on public transportation which is non-existent in rural areas or stops running after certain hours. Economic cut backs have resulted in reduced routes and times and increased fares. The cost of owning, maintaining, and insuring a vehicle has not made matters any easier.

Persons with disabilities remain one of the largest segments of our population who are under or unemployed.

Self Employment offers a viable alternative for persons with disabilities. The ability to work from home removes the expense and barrier of transportation. Self Employment offers many additional advantages over wage employment. For instance self employment offers individuals the opportunity to schedule their work day to accommodate their personal productivity levels, medical needs, goals and availability of necessary supports.

Self Employment in of it self is not the solution for persons with disabilities. The key is to have right opportunity that can meet many of the other challenges persons with disabilities face in securing or maintaining employment.

Everyone Is Welcome, Inc. has created that opportunity. We have identified a market need that impacts 11 million Americans and have partnered with business leaders from companies to reach out and connect the 11 million Americans with a service that may help them during this difficult economic time. This self employment opportunity is not just for persons with disabilities. It is available to anyone who has an interest in earning additional income.

What makes this self employment opportunity unique is that when Everyone Is Welcome, Inc. was approached by the business leaders, we envisioned creating a business support system that would remove many of the challenges that persons with disabilities face in maintaining employment. Using current technology, we created a business support system that has the ability to successfully support most anyone who takes advantage of the opportunity.

Everyone Is Welcome, Inc. is the marketing arm of a service that connects a person in need to a program that may help them. To accomplish this objective, our task is to assemble a massive team of individuals or what we call "Ambassadors" to the service. Ambassadors are hired by Everyone Is Welcome, Inc. as self employed Independent Contactors. The function of the Ambassadors is as follows:

  1. To Identify a person in need of the service and program.

  2. To Inform the person of the service and program.

  3. To Pre-Qualify the person to determine if they are eligible to participate in the program.

  4. To Refer pre-qualified person to the service and program.

In order to maximize a person with a disability ability to participate as self employed Independent Contractor, we have created a web-based support system that does most of the above functions. The Ambassador simply drives traffic to the web based system. The person in need of the service logs onto the system using a URL that is tied to the Ambassador for tracking purposes. Once on the system, the person in need can on-line educate or inform themselves about  the service and program, pre-qualify themselves for the program, and refer themselves to the service and program. Once the person in need of service has benefited, completed and been charged and paid for the service, Everyone Is Welcome, Inc. is compensated for services rendered. We in turn pay the Ambassador a Marketing Referral Fee.

To support the Ambassador in executing function 1. To Identify we have developed an array of strategies, on-line tools and supports. Use of social media such as FaceBook LinkedIn, Twitter  is just one of many tools available. If needed, persons can use their existing job coach to support them with some of the strategies. We will be happy to meet with Provider Organizations to explain or secure their support. We have a program to support Provider Organizations in becoming Agency Ambassadors.
